“The the best objective in commercial and economic terms for Scotland as an independent nation is to make it the capital of the renewable energy world.”

Professional market and speaker, David recently returned to Edinburgh after a foray in Ireland and is currently authoring two new books ‘The Marketing Manifesto’ and ‘Competitive SME’ with Kogan Page – the latter book is actually spinning off as a series of workshops offering SMEs a very powerful means to enhance competitiveness.

David wants to make Scotland the capital of the renewable energy world, and is working with Aqua Energy Scotland to achieve their part in that. He believes that this is the best objective in commercial and economic terms for Scotland as an independent nation.

As an SNP and Independence supporter all his life, David formed the SNP’s YSN with a small cohort some time ago and is still an occasional activist.

“I’m looking to spend some more time on the cause,” says David.  “We do need some major events to spread the word and build on Jim Mather’s excellent results in making business more involved and open to the idea.

“Exciting times indeed.”
